Veg pulao khaungi

Hello, hello!

I woke up craving some of the veg pulao that grandma used to make for my buas when they’d leave home — for sasural, kaam, trips, interviews, all that. It was our typical pack-this-for-your-journey meal. I was left behind and would cry so much saying goodbye. I remember bawling and missing them with a face stuffed with that rice. And some achaar, I think. Though I always preferred it sweet and simple. Anyhow, Om offered to make it for me while I write this. So, dinner shall be brilliant. I’m excited.

Now, on to other things.

One. Tried Ettarra coffee today.

Juhu circle was blocked with mad traffic — spent 90 mins going to college. Missed the first lecture. Had 30 minutes on hand, so I went to Ettarra with a friend. Got the Kaapicino. Didn’t enjoy it so much, to be honest. It’s also not my thing to get a hot one. So, it didn’t get a fair chance. My strawberry-milkshake friend got a cold brew; they said it was bitter. Bitter like coffee, not ugly bitter. The food is really cute and bite-sized. What I really like is their website. No, I don’t have a marketing breakdown for you. I’m sure you are smart like that. Mine’s a pure consumer’s perspective.

Two. I love a quiet home.

There was no one at home this afternoon. Which is rare. It’s always bustling. So I chilled and worked and danced in my underwear. Put some coffee to steep. Ate at sloth’s pace. And then worked to finish some cool things. This morning with it’s traffic + some random things getting to my head + missing the morning shower (missed the alarm) had left me in a funk. So, the afternoon alone paced me back to normal life. I have cracked this. Every time I am feeling crappy, two hours alone with my laptop will fix me. So that.

Three. I want to see how much money I can make in life.

Today, I do not have to worry about my ramen money. That is taken care of. Not just family, but also C4E. With that safety net being in place, my new chull is to see how much money I can make. And I want to make and own a lot of it. So, today at the beach, I was chatting with Saurabh on making money and things people and how businesses run and how the world operates. All that. This is my answer to the good ol’ question, “What do you want to do after college?”

I want to find out how much money I can make in life.

Lastly. The AI-image generation thing is insanely cool.

Club (Ghibli/realistic/chibi/south-park/whatever images from ChatGPT) and (audio + movement from Hedra Labs) and (podcast scripts of a long text or news items from Notebook or something) and (a Make automation to find daily news for podcast topics + scheduling final posts) and you’ve got yourself Draupadi telling you daily news and hosting a podcast about it. With a couple of women perhaps. Wouldn’t that be so cool? Oh, lord! I am so excited!

Chalo, now my pulao is ready and I can’t wait longer. And oh, here’s my Rule-of-thirds sheet for the day.
